This calendar of eclipses is dynamically computed, using algorithms from Meeus's Astronomical Algorithms.

All times reported are corrected from Dynamical Time to civil time, and are generally accurate within one minute, when compared to the times published by the US Naval Observatory.

The time of maximum contact is given for each eclipse. This is not a highly accurate time; Meeus reports a mean error of 0.36 minutes, and a maximum error of 1.1 minute for solar eclipses occuring between 1951–2050

When they do happen, eclipses are not visible everywhere on Earth. This is especially true for solar eclipses. If you're interested in seeing a particular eclipse, you should check the visibility maps found on Fred Espanek's site.

You can subscribe or download an iCalendar which includes all moon phases, equinoxes, solstices, and eclipses for the calendar years 2009–2013 (inclusive). Or you can download this calendar for 1901–1950, 1951–2000, or 2001–2050.

Do not over-subscribe. Some people seem to believe that downloading this calendar once a minute will make things happen faster. It doesn’t. Instead, I get charged more for your frequent downloading. There’s no need to download more than once a month — at most weekly if your subscription options don’t allow for a longer time between updates.
